Songs of Magic

Project originally created for the Animation and Digital Art Project class of the BA in Animation and Digital Art at Tecnológico de Monterrey, and developed further as an independent project.

This is a 3rd person game that implements the elements of music and dance of musicals. The player controls a sorcerer who must fight enemies by using multiple magical attacks with different ranges, progressing through the multiple levels. The game contains 3 levels that demonstrate multiple ways to implement the style of a musical within typical video game situations, such as: exploration, combat against “mobs”, and combat against “bosses”.

Developed in Unity by a team of 15 people in a period of 8 months. Currently in development.


Potions VR

Project created for the Virtual Environments class of the BA in Animation and Digital Art at Tecnológico de Monterrey. Prototype for a virtual reality game where the player must create potions by pouring ingredients inside a cauldron following the given recipe.

Developed in Unity by a team of 4 people in a period of 1 month.

Monster Crash

Monster Crash is a local multiplayer versus game with a top down camera in which up to 4 players take control of different monsters and Dash against each other to reduce their health and launch each other off the arena. It was developed as the final project of the Game Design program at Vancouver Film School by a team of 3 people, with 1 sound collaborator.


Slim’ancer

Slim’ancer is a real time strategy game with an isometric-style camera. In it, the player can direct hordes of slimes in order to take over the kingdom. Slimes will follow the player on command, but are otherwise autonomous. Their possible actions include chasing and eating NPCs, merging to create bigger slimes, and transforming into armored slimes or chicken slimes.
This game developed as the portfolio project of the Game Design program at Vancouver Film School by a team of 6 people in the span of two months.
