Monster Crash

Monster Crash is a local multiplayer versus game with a top down camera in which up to 4 players take control of different monsters and Dash against each other to reduce their health and launch each other off the arena. It was developed as the final project of the Game Design program at Vancouver Film School.
Developed by a main team of 3 people, with 1 sound collaborator, in the Unity game engine in a period of 3 months.

In this project I was responsible for all character art, including:

– Design
– Models
– Textures
– Animations
– In-engine implementation
– VFX


Project Management

In addition to mi contributions in assets, I also covered the responsibilities of Project Manager, which included:

– Monitoring progress of teammates
– Redaction of Milestone Reports (every two weeks) regarding the status of the project.
– Verifying deliveries in-engine (assets and systems) from all team members.
– Coordinating with our external sound collaborator for the creation, verification and delivery of sound assets.
– Preparation of assets for industry presentations, progress reports, and submission to the VFS Arcade website. These included screenshots, trailers, descriptions, and technical information of the project.
– Filling of relevant documents regarding copyright and permissions regarding the project.
